MADERA, Calif. – As The Pulse celebrates its first anniversary, the publication has earned a Regional Emmy Award nomination.
“Royce’s Recovery Brings Hope to the Valley” has been nominated for a San Francisco/Northern California Regional Emmy Award in the Health/Medical News or Short Form category.
The story highlights a groundbreaking cancer treatment that saved the life of a Central Valley boy, along with his resilience and recovery. The treatment will be offered at Valley Children’s in the near future, bringing new hope to families across the region.
The nomination comes as The Pulse marks its first year of sharing stories that highlight the patients, families and caregivers who make up the Valley Children’s community.
Regional Emmy Award winners will be announced in August.
