Toys for Tots and Valley Children’s to Host Toy Drive at Nov. 25 Fresno State Football Game

FRESNO, Calif. – To usher in the holiday season, Toys for Tots will host a toy drive at the Nov. 25 Kids Night Game at Valley Children’s Stadium, when the Fresno State Bulldogs host the Wyoming Cowboys.

Fans are encouraged to bring new unwrapped toys for children in need in Fresno and Madera counties. Toys for Tots representatives will be available outside the stadium to accept donations before and after 7 p.m. kickoff.

“Toys for Tots and the Marines of the Marine Corps League Fresno could not accomplish our mission without the generous support of caring people in our communities,” said Jessica Montano, Coordinator of Fresno/Madera Toys for Tots.

This year is the 75th anniversary of the Toys for Tots program, which helps fulfill holiday dreams for children in need. Last year, the Marine Toys for Tots Program provided toys to more than 8 million children, including more than 43,000 in Fresno and Madera counties.

Valley Children’s and Fresno State University have worked together throughout the 2022 football season to make the game day experience extra special for children and families. In July, the two celebrated Valley institutions officially launched an expansive partnership that will have a lasting impact on students, faculty and the community.
