MADERA, Calif. – Valley Children’s Healthcare has been awarded a Level 8 achievement in the acute and ambulatory categories of the 2025 Digital Health Most Wired survey.

The results were released by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). The program is recognized worldwide and honors excellence in digitally-enabled healthcare.

“This recognition is truly rewarding,” said Joe Egan, Valley Children’s vice president and chief information officer. “It reflects the hard work and innovation of our IT Services Division and the incredible teamwork across Valley Children’s. We share this honor with every department that partners with us to advance patient care through technology.”

The survey measures how healthcare organizations utilize technology, assessing their maturity, outcomes and overall value. It covers all stages of digital development – from early digitization to advanced transformation.

Among more than 50,000 facilities evaluated, Valley Children’s stood out by ranking above its peers in key areas such as clinical quality and safety, analytics and data management, cybersecurity, population health, infrastructure, patient engagement and innovation.
